A Connected Community
The Clarendon Wharf masterplan has been shaped by a strong landscape-led approach, creating a connected network of streets, squares and green spaces that link seamlessly with the wider Belfast Harbour and city centre. Over four hectares of new and enhanced public open space will provide opportunities for relaxation, play and community activity.
The design celebrates the site’s maritime heritage, with the historic dry docks forming a distinctive focal point surrounded by lawns, play spaces and new pedestrian bridges. A series of pocket parks, gardens and playable streets ensure that every part of the neighbourhood has access to high-quality outdoor space.
