Introduction
Clarendon Wharf is a once-in-a-generation, multi-million-pound development by Belfast Harbour that will transform an underused part of the waterfront into a vibrant and connected city centre neighbourhood. The vision celebrates Belfast Harbour’s distinctive maritime heritage, restoring the historic dry docks and unlocking more than four hectares of new and enhanced public realm.
The masterplan proposes around 600 new homes, including affordable apartments offered at discounted market rents and wheelchair-accessible units, to help meet Belfast’s housing needs. This masterplan, delivering new open space and community uses for new and existing residents, is a signature project within Belfast Harbour’s ambitious 2050 Masterplan.
This website forms part of the Pre Application Community Consultation (PACC) process, which gives residents, businesses and stakeholders the opportunity to learn more about the plans and share their feedback before a planning application is submitted to Belfast City Council.
